Softwashing is the process of applying an eco-friendly cleaning solution to surfaces using low pressure to remove dirt, mold, algae, mildew, and moss.

The cleaning solution is sprayed on using a low-pressure nozzle and let to dwell between 5-10 minutes.  The solution is then gently rinsed off with water to leave surfaces clear of dirt, grime, and organics.  Depending on the surface and amount of dirt, a light scrubbing with a soft-bristled brush can also be used.
